Why do I need an international driver's License?
Some states may allow you to use your driver's license from your home country.
However, if the license isn't printed in English, they will have difficulty
verifying its validity. Getting an international driver's license
will save you a lot of time and trouble if you are ever stopped by the police.
What is the speed limit in the U.S.?
This varies from city to city, but most cities will have standards ranging
from 25-35 mph (40-56 kph). On freeways the speed limits are set by the
federal goverment, so the standards are the same from coast to coast. Freeways
speeds range from 55-75 mph (104-120 kph) depending on whether you are in a
densely populated or rural area.
