You will most like want to have a can in San Diego anyway. You'll want to have the car so that you can drive around to ALL the beautiful places there are to see over there. San Diego is a growing city, and chances are, you'll be spending an entire day just trying to take the public transit going anywhere over there. If you are going to UC San Diego, then you "might" be able to hold off having a car for a semester or two. There is campus bus service taking people to nearby shopping area... There is also a bus pass you can get as a student there, and travel on the bus for free within the 5 mile radius of school. If you're going to another university there, you might want to ask and find out if they, too, have this service. |
