I am on a f1 visa right now, I will be changing my status to H1 visa, I will have to renew my passport, and I found out that there is a problem in the spelling of my last name, when they rewrited the books (hand writting)changed it because they said my ancestor had that lastname in a different way. and they will not change it to the original name I had when I came. There will be a problem when I change my status, if my last name is missing one letter in my new passport ?
