Hi, I am an occupational therapist who had my formal education in India. My degree is recognised as equivalent to the American degree.I have got it evaluated.I am presently on an F-1 visa doing my PhD in Texas. If I get a job, is it possible for me to give up my PhD and start working by processing my H-1?? Or do i need to finish my PhD and then only can think of working?? CAN I SWITCH FROM F-1 TO H-1 WITHOUT FINISHING MY STUDIES?????/ I need an urgent reply. Thanks. Tushar
