i was just there, too! =) this time, i stayed at the mgm grand, which was pretty nice. the rooms are cozy, the service is good, and there are some decent restaurants in the hotel as well. the only place i had time to go to (since i went for business) was a southwestern grill called z tejas (or soemthing like that). good food at a great price. it's located down the street from the las vegas convention center. other places of interest in/around vegas: las vegas mini grand prix (go go-kart racing with your friends, but it's a good $25 cab ride out) cirque du soleil show at the bellagio ("o" is worth the $100 ticket per person, trust me) m&m world (if you dig m&m's, hey this is the place) roller coaster ride at the new york, new york (don't eat too much before you go on it)
