There is a restaurant called The Tower in the TransAmerica Building in downtown LA. They serve French cuisine, and the chef is a French-trained Japanese. On top of that, the price is quite reasonable. I went there with three other people. We ordered a bottle of Californian wine, salad, soup, a main dish, cappcino and tiramisu. The price for one person was $55! Their tiramisu was the best! It melts in the mouth and not oily or sweet at all. Try!
