For those who are traveling to/in the East, and learn a bit of the American history... I would strongly suggest visiting: Williamsburg, Virginia. I thought this place was a great place for friends to take a road trip to! Part of this town, known as Colonial Williamsburg, has been transformed (for tourists' experience) back to the 1700's -- where people dress, behave, and live as if they're back in the colonial days. It's a great experience for those who would like to get a glimpse of what it was like to be colonial man/woman.
