Mmmm... this looks very interesting and I checked several Japanese web sites as well to get more info. Here's another explanation of Kaiseki: "The most refined food presentation in Japanese cuisine, KAISEKI is a multi-course meal featuring small amounts of food of various textures and preparation methods, made to please the eye as much as the palate.
