I'am a 15-year-old student from Taiwan.My family is going to immigrant to the US this coming summer vacation. I'm also very nervus....Idon't know what I need to prepare ....both in physical and emotion. We really need someone to give us informations about American high school.... 1.subjects: How do we choose subject?what subjects we have to take?I've heard that foriegn students got to take ESL,and it'll take so much time that they can't graduate at the same time like others.Another thing~is there a lot of works to do or exams? 2.school time: 9:00~15:00???!!!(yeah~I'm looking forward~myschool now is 7:30~17:30!)How about lunch time?Is there any "napping time?"(Am I asking too much strange question?sorry...I'm having a serious culture shock...dizzy....) 3.school activities: Dancing party?outing?dramas?concerts? 4.clubs: Does everyone have to choose a club? Which kind of club(or activity) is popular with the American teenagers? These are something I'm eager to know....I appreciate your help!
