I wish I could afford Europe any time in the next few years, but it doesn't look good. It looks as if you are sticking to Western Europe, and in that region I would recommend seeing some of the sights in Buckinghamshire while you are in England. The weather north of London is going to be pretty bad at the time you will be there, but if you don't mind the rain, I would even recommend a trip to see some of he Roman ruins near the Scottish border (Hadrian's Wall is one great example). As for France, I would suggest the north. The bars and clubs across the border in Belgiums stay open later than the French ones (or so a friend from Lille tells me).
